COBRA MAGIC VIDEO CONTEST 2026
OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
1. About the Contest
Cobra Magic invites magicians and performers from around the world to take part in the Cobra Magic Video Contest 2026.
To enter, submit a video clip from your performance featuring the use of at least one Cobra Magic product as part of your routine.
2. Contest Categories
The contest includes three performance categories:
- Stage
- Close-Up
- Parlour
Participants may enter one, two, or all three categories.
A separate video must be submitted for each category entered, and each video must be appropriate for the category in which it is submitted.
The same video may not be submitted to multiple categories.
3. Video Requirements
Each submission must show the participant performing a routine or performance piece that includes at least one Cobra Magic product.
The Cobra Magic product should be incorporated into an actual routine or performance rather than presented only as a technical product demonstration.
The performance does not have to be in English. However, if the video includes spoken content in another language, English subtitles must be included.
Participants must ensure that the submitted video is of high visual and audio quality, with the performance clearly visible and easy to follow.
Participants are encouraged to submit videos that clearly show both the performance and the use of the Cobra Magic product.
4. Submission Period
Entries may be submitted from:
September 22, 2026 through October 13, 2026.
Entries received after the submission deadline may not be accepted.
5. How to Submit Your Video
All video entries must be sent to:
Due to video file sizes, we recommend uploading your video using a file-transfer service such as JumboMail or WeTransfer and sending the download link by email.
Please make sure that:
- The download link is active and accessible.
- The video file can be downloaded without requiring special access or permission.
- Your name and contest category are clearly included in the email.
- If you submit multiple videos, clearly indicate the category for each video.
6. Number of Entries
Participants may submit up to five video entries in total across the three contest categories:
- Stage
- Close-Up
- Parlor
Participants may submit more than one video in the same category, provided that the total number of submitted videos does not exceed five.
Each entry must contain a different video, and each video must be appropriate for the category in which it is submitted.
7. Judging
All eligible entries will be reviewed by a judging panel consisting of independent guest judges and Yaniv & Liron from Cobra Magic.
The names of the guest judges will be announced separately.
Entries will be evaluated based on several criteria, including:
- Quality of performance and presentation
- Originality and creativity
- How effectively the Cobra Magic product is incorporated into the routine
- Video and production quality
The judges’ decisions will be final.
8. Winners
The winners will be announced no later than:
October 27, 2026.
9. Prizes
The following prizes will be awarded:
1st Place
Cobra Magic Mind Controller
Retail value: $1,698 USD
2nd Place
Cobra Magic Any Cup
Retail value: $798 USD
3rd Place
Cobra Magic Whiteboard
Retail value: $546 USD
Prizes are awarded as products and cannot be exchanged for their cash value unless Cobra Magic decides otherwise.
10. Rights to Submitted Content
By submitting a video, the participant confirms that they have the necessary rights and permissions to submit and publish the content.
Participants also grant Cobra Magic permission to use, publish, repost, edit, excerpt, and share submitted videos for purposes related to the contest and for Cobra Magic marketing, promotional, website, social media, and advertising activities.
Where reasonably possible, Cobra Magic may credit the performer when publishing submitted content.
11. Third-Party Rights
Participants are responsible for ensuring that their submission does not violate the copyright, privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other rights of any third party.
If other individuals are clearly featured in the submitted video, the participant is responsible for obtaining any permissions required for the submission and publication of the video.
12. Disqualification
Cobra Magic reserves the right to disqualify any entry that:
- Does not meet the contest requirements
- Does not clearly feature a Cobra Magic product
- Contains inappropriate or unlawful content
- Infringes the rights of a third party
- Contains misleading or fraudulent information
- Is otherwise considered unsuitable for the contest
13. Changes to the Contest
Cobra Magic reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the contest schedule, rules, judging process, or other contest details if necessary.
Any significant changes will be communicated through Cobra Magic’s official channels.
14. Participation
By submitting an entry to the Cobra Magic Video Contest 2026, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Official Contest Rules.
